ten gentle reminders

Just a good reminder for a Wednesday.

*******

I went to Connecticut this past weekend for a surprise visit.

My cousin was having a reception for her wedding in Alaska.

Going back is nostalgic, but I am beyond glad to be home.

There’s something about your own bed, own shower, own home.

And of course those puppy tail wags when you walk through the door.

Also, Adam painted more trim while I was gone.

I love him more than homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

Enjoy your week!

  2. Being home is one of the best feelings ever – so much warmth, comfort and love. I always love going home and hate having to leave it.

  3. those are the best little reminders 🙂 so many people need a nudge in those areas these days!

and i love my husband more than homemade spaghetti and meatballs, too, which is kind of a really big deal, right?!

  4. I like the one about good moods being contagious. It’s so true! So many times I’ve wanted to grouch back at someone being grumpy, but I kill them with kindness instead… works almost every time.
