The town next to ours is raising money to build a dog park.
It seemed like a good excuse to get up early on a Saturday morning.
For a walk around around a beautiful park with our pup.
And about twenty other dogs.
I had puppy fever.
Someone had a pomeranian corgie mix. He was like a pudgy hairball.
I wanted to snuggle him.
Ricki had a blast.
All those smells.
So many trees to pee on.
Leaves to roll in.
You bet he got a bath the second we got home.
But it was worth it.
PS Congrats to Meg from Henning Love for winning the Burts Bees Giveaway! Email me your information 🙂

Ooh so pretty. I want to go there! So many fall leaves..there are none where I live. Sadly.
Sweetest thing!! I miss my pup! Can’t wait for the day we get another (:
awww so cute! my dog is basically the love of my life, and I wish we had a dog park to take him to.
Oh my name’s Carissa by the way… and I’m your newest follower! (or I was when I clicked “follow”) haha
what a cute pup!!
i’m totally loving your blog! so glad to have found it! 🙂
a pom/corgi mix sounds aaaaaadoooorable!
Great pics! Nothing like a walk in a park on an autumn Saturday afternoon ?
that park is stunning. and a dog park is necessary. I used to take my dog Bear (who lives in CA) to the dog park every.single.day sometimes for 2-3 hours (clearly i wasnt working..)
except on wednesdays when it was closed for clean up…
then Bear went to doggy day care. im obviously too lazy to actually walk him…
Looks like a nice Saturday! I love dog parks, I could watch my little one interact with other pups for hours! I think it’s the cutest darn thing. xo
