These last few days have been the definition of rough. My little guy has croup, which basically means that no one (including the dog) has seen a wink of sleep in the past 48 hours. Or gotten out of our pajamas. Why bother when your entire schedule consists of snuggles and naps…until Jake gets healthy.
So I’ve been a bit MIA, dealing with this sudden bout of sickness. But managed to sneak a few minutes in to share one of our island trips a few weeks back. We headed to Middle Bass for a few days with Adam’s parents and had the most gorgeous weekend. The island was pretty empty being the end of the season, but we managed to stumble upon some interesting spots.
Like these glacier grooves. Just sitting there. Begging for a baby’s butt to grace them.
So we obliged.
Jake wasn’t that impressed with the grooves. I’m not sure what we expected from him. Being four months old and all. We still geeked out over them – I mean really, who knew you could find such amazing history in your backyard?PAGECHECK
